Well I finally broke down and tore into the bottom end of my motor tonight to see what had been causing a knock. Well, as I suspected, I'd spun at least 1 rod bearing (haven't checked the rest yet). The crank journal on #4 is questionable at best. It checks out about .001 undersize. So unless I want to do this again in a couple of months I should pull the motor and grind the crank. Oh well.. it's only money right? I do really want to put in forged rods so I can turn up the boost. Here's my chance, just alittle earlier than I had hoped for. Wish me better luck this time guys.
