Is this that common? My car was finally overheating and the oil started to look funny, so I decided to pull the head and see. I pulled out an organic old school single layer type. My sister also has a 97 that needed a HG b/c of the leaking oil problem. I pulled a MLS out of that one. When I worked on alot of Neons, I saw MLS in some 96 SOHC's, so WTF?

I have a 96 also that i Did the HG on it 3 years ago. they did not come with MLS.

yeah, when I took my car to satan to change my headgasket a few years ago (before i knew how to do it myself) I asked and they said no 2gnt comes stock with mls. They werent even gonna put one on for me, but I talked them into it.
