im looking to upgrade my distributor. so far ive found this one http://www.howellautomotive.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=250 the price is good. im not racing the car, i just want a better one. it doesnt need to be top of the line, this is a daily driver car. does anyone have a good one to suggest?

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.

im about to get the MSD coil and wires, just cuz it matches my red car emoji , but i have heard screamin demon is higher quality and price. so if u have the cash but also ur not looking for top of the line, ude have to decide "price vs. performance"

going to have to look for a long time, due to our cars not having distributers. maybe a coil pack.

yea if you buy that you're going to have an extremely hard time installing it...look for a screamin demon coil pack instead

Well, that looks alot like out coil packs, maybe he just used the word "distributor" in place for it. if you look at the picture u'de be able to tell emoji its a SD coil.

I'm using the MSD coil-pack and I have not noticed a difference at all. I purchased it believing my OEM coil-pack was bad... nope, waste of money... but it adds to the mod list. emoji

Howell's Sceamin Demon pack is actually cheaper than the MSD coil, but it looks just like the OEM one with a crappy sticker on it.

There are three coil packs for the 2GNT:
- stock
- MSD (from ERT)
- Screamin Demon (from Howell)

The Screamin Demon, which is the "top of the line," as you put it, is actually the cheapest one. Maybe that will clear things up a bit.

Don't you just hate that shit? Damn. It's like that first race with the I/H/E installed against the Cavalier and you still lose. emoji

Mine came without the crappy sticker. It had "SD" crudely scratched in the side of it, but it works. emoji (I bought it used.)
