How long does it take cranking the engine to get oil up to the turbo. I tryed for about 10 min. Has any one had this problem? Maybe the motors not turning over fast enough. Im going to try pushing oil in through the oil gally tomarrow.

did you prime the oil pump?

pump was primed 2 weeks ago. I was reading over on neons.org this is common for the 2.0 and 2.4. Most have had to push oil into the oil gallys.

turning the motor over is acceptable to prime the oil system. just don't run it. it took awhile for oil to come out of my turbo oil feed with just the starter turning the motor. it will come. it is hard to mess up putting on the oil pump.

make sure you have a oil pressure gauge when acctually start your motor. if you don't get pressure shut it down fast.
