Maybe it's low on water. If you can hear it, that means there's air in the system. Also, I believe if it's flowing, then your thermostat's working as well.

ill top off the cooling system tonight, wait for it to get cold, fill it up, start it up with the cap off, fill it till it stops bubbeling and cant hold no more, also my head sucks ass, i drive a van at work, and its heat is like instant, mine takes like 15 mins before I feel heat, plus my car eats a shit ton of gas while its cold emoji

There's a bleed valve (screw) before the thermostat on the water neck. Before you start it, take that screw out (it's a small allen screw) and run it for a while.

The van in reference is probably a V8 I'm guessing? If so, the water flows past 4 more cylinders to warm it up than in your 4 cyl.

There's air in your system. EVERY day before you start it up, top off the water in the radiator and the reservoir. If it's still low after 5 days of refilling it, you have a leak. Usually from a hose or the headgasket.

You might check your coolant sensors (there are 2) and the procedure is in the Chiltons.

An old (50k miles) oxygen sensor will cause poor gas mileage when the car is cold.

Yeah, when my o2 sensor was wired wrong, but I had a CEL for being too lean.

Do like dawg said, check the coolant sensors.

First of all, are they Bosch part number 4418?

Second, I am convinced beyond all belief that platinum and multi-electrode spark plugs are a HUGE problem.

The best plugs for my nonturbo as measured by a datalogger have been:
Champion RC9YC5 gap .050
NGK BKR6ES-11 gap .050

I agree. Ditch the plugs and replace your CLT sensor.
