That is all that is causing my CEL code 31 small evap leak. The dealership wants over 340 bucks to change out a little part. Crazyness!

what year is your car.....i have one from a 95 which is the same as 96. 97 is different from what i am told. the 95/96 is on top of the tank.

I heard mine is there too. 97.

Have you already replaced the gas cap and all the vacuum lines in the passenger front fender that go to the EVAP cannister and solenoids? If not, I would suggest getting some vac hose and trying that first.

car is a 97, dealership ran my car through the fog machine and looked for every leak possible. Took them a while, but they finally said it is from the roll over valve for sure.

Damn. Last time I had Daisy in the shop back in Kansas (before I knew what the hell I was doing) they told me the same thing. The smoke was coming out from the rear wheel wells.

Ah well. I guess I'll just have to drop the tank one day. emoji
