#93727, "WTF!? Blown Head Gasket?"

Now I don't know for sure but I'm afraid my headgasket's shot. The other day my car started leaking a lot of coolant at the back of the engine. So I tried to find where the leak was today and now the fucking car blow's white smoke. I did a compression check and got 170,160,160,180 on 8.8:1. I've got a cometic headgasket and only been running 15 lbs of boost. So what do ya think? And if the gasket is bad, how in the hell could it have blown?
Thanks

Matt

Use the factory 4-layer, and ARP head studs at 15+ psi.

What I don't understand is how the headgasket could go. I've only been boosing for 1500 miles and I was already using head studs. Is there something else at fault here or are the cometic headgaskets really that worthless?

I took the head off today and got a look at what I'm up against. I couldn't find any cracks or anything on the headgasket. And on the head itself I found a couple very small dents close to the side of the head. What do you think? And can a headgasket go bad w/out any visible signs on it?
