I lost the metal L shapped tube, or whatever you want to call it that you attach a breather filter to on the drivers side of the valve cover. Does anyone have an extra one? Can i just seal this hole shut?
Thanks,
-Brian

if its the hole on the drivers side put a breather filter on it

if its the hole on the passenger side that runs to the intake manifold you need to replace that tube. and by no means do not seal either of these up, will cause blowby.

Edit
" i just re-read that, if im reading it right, how did you manage to break that tube off of the valve cover. But in either case yes you will need to replace it, it helps equalize pressure inside the crankcase/etc to atmospheric pressure.

nope, it's an interference fit. no threads, it just slides in

edit: copper water line maybe? you can file down one end and fit it in the hole pretty easily i would think

Call the company and see if they have it sitting around somewhere. If not, Dealer or junkyard.

the tube your talking about is the breather tube, no you cant seal it off. if i were you id call up the company and have them send it to you or get you a replacement asap. they took it off..that means they are responsible for it. no use in having to rig something to work when they lost your part. a minor part yes...but still an inconvinience. and yes, it just slips right in, friction fitted
