#92984, "Part #'s for Clutch Slave Cylinder"
Sep-11-05 03:43 PM by totaleklipse97

Been looking around all night for these. I have come across a few, but I really think alot of manufactures just cross reference the 4g63 Clutch slave. Not realizing that there seems to be a difference. Best price I have found so far was $93 and some odd change with free shipping. If you know of a reputable manufacture and their part number for OUR clutch slave, I would really appreciate your input. I will try my best to find a good price and I will post it here. Prices have ranged so far from low-$93 to high-$132. Thanks!

Edit: Here is what I have found: Part # I3010-59274

Bob Kise at Fenton Chrysler:
P 810-714-3300
$59 for slave cylinder with rod

If you buy an aftermarket slave cylinder, they often don't include the rod, which cannot be purchased separately. If you have the rod from the old one, that might be the way to go. Advance Auto has them for $20-40 in stock.

Thanks corbin, I had just stopped by a Advanced auto and they couldn't even order one. So I checked a few other places and they also could not get one. Started to look around online and the average price was 95-125. I will give Fenton a call tomorrow, I thought bob left though?

Greg is another contact at Fenton (I think Bob did leave). But, they still offer the discount as I just bought a slave cylinder a few months ago. I also bought one at Advance Auto (didn't have the rod), so I'm a little surprised that your Advance won't do it.

I got mine from Checker. (Schucks/Cragen in other locales) It was under $50 if I remember right. Came with everything I needed. Wasn't a true drop in replacement, though. It will go in and work right, but the bleeder valve is right next to a motor bracket, which makes bleeding it a bit of a PITA. Good luck, Aaron. Get that bitch running right!

Ya I kind of miss doing 2 wheel burn outs going into 2nd... those were the days. I ordered a SS clutch line from RRE so I will just do everything at the same time. #1 goal, get this car running like it should!

I got a rebuild kit for mine from Satan of all places for less than $40. Been over 2 years and no issues... Just a thought.

So now at 44 what the hell do I do?

I ended up getting a full on brand new one from Fenton Dodge. Took the guy a bit longer than it would have taken Bob, but he was a nice guy. Luckily they still give the ASOG/2gnt discount. I think it was $60.50, honestly I called my local dodge dealer.. They priced me at $109.xx, ya so $40 make a big difference.

STILL CALL FENTON DODGE FOR PARTS!!!!
