I have a 97 RS with an automatic transmission. I want to know if it is ok to change the transmission fluid and have it serviced. The dealer i bought it from said not to but it smells like the fluid i burning.

Yeah, go ahead and do it. Just make sure you get that ATF+ or ATF+3 tranny fluid SPECIFICALLY made for chrysler trannies. Stay away from that synthetic or that dexron\mercon stuff. Good Luck!!!!!!
