I am only pulling about 9 on my vac gauge at idle, and thought I had a vac leak. Since then, I have not found a leak anywhere and am starting to think I don't even have a leak. I have completely rebuilt for a turbo, but am still N/A. I have Crower 2's and am at 8.8:1 compression, the cam gears are both set at 0. Could the overlap on the cams be giving me a low vac at idle? I was going to mess with the timing a little, like +2 on the intake just to see if it helps and then go from there. What do you all think? Could this be what my problem is? I can't mess with the idle right at the moment because I have all of my interior ripped out with a bunch of electronics, I'm just brain storming right now to figure my low vac problem and shitty idle. It does idle very nicley until it warms up though, I am stumped. I looked everywhere and have found no leak. Help me out. I'm leaning towards the cam timing and overlap. TIA. ~Jeffo
