well i had a feeling my valve seals are bad for a while now so today i took off turbo and i looked through the exhaust ports on the head and on most of the valve stems i saw some caked up oil. so soon i am gonna reabuild to stock specs . with valve seals , rings , HG , clutch kit. all that . but the car only smokes when i start it , then it stops right away. so do u think its gonna start smoking when i drive soon or will it just stay like it is for a while? its been puffing a burst of smoke when i start it for about 2 months now.. but not when i drive.

when my valve seals were bad it was smoking when i got on it. at idle it was actually ok.

rebuild the head and youll be fine.

im gonna re do the whole motor just cause i may as well but it only smokes when its first started. not at idle or drivin. . odd.
