I pulled off my STAR STAGE II (well Optikal's machanic did) Car will not run/idle unless I keep my foot on the gas. EGR is blocked off and I have a 60mm Jeep TB. Im pretty sure all the vac lines are hooked up right but I cant figure out why the car wont run. Before the kit was removed the car was running fine (except the DP got disconnected from the cat for about 50 miles).

Please help ASAP

It's a vacuum line or sensor you forgot to reconnect.

Check: vacuum tees, back of intake mani, re-do all sensors, especially IAC, and brake booster.

do you get any CELs?

that problem of having to hold the gas down to keep it running sounds similar to when you have the map sensor discoed or broken, check cels and check map sensor connection and make sure you take off your missing link, voltage clamp or what not to eliminate any problem with that.

yeah, the missing link was still installed I'll have eric pull it and see if it fixes the problem. As for CELs, well there was on for the 02 sensor on for so long it burn the bulb out , heh; Im sure its going to throw a code for the EGR system being removed, but I'll try and get my buddies ODBII scanner to be sure.

If anyone else has thoughts, lets hear em!

it should in theory work even with a nt. I was just having him remove it and connect the map sensor the way it originally came to eliminate any possible problems. Since hes running N/a now, there really is no need for it.
