alright, i just wanted to know how many of you guys with aem cai's have broken that little piece of metal that connects the bottom portion of the cai to where the stock airbox went. you know what i mean. I broke mine i guess when i went over a bump or something. I take them kinda slow so I don't know how it could happen. I was also thinking if my greddy header might have had an effect on it, with it being so hot. This ever happen to you peeps?

i just didn't want all the hoses and shit taking all that stress. I talked some guy down from 55 to 35 to weld that thing back on, think it was kind of a rip off, don't know how long it will last.

Never broke mine either. If you really wanna get it fixed, just bring it to a shop to a have it welded on. Its better than being paranoid about it.
