#92010, "Neon Pistons?"

I did a search for "neon pistons" on here but I only got one hit, so here's my question. I'm like 99% sure the neon stock pistons are different than the Eclipse stock pistons even though they are the same short block, correct? The reason I'm asking is I acquired a set this evening and they don't have the little indentations for the valves in them. Now that I'm thinking about it more sense b/c the neon's head is a SOHC. Please correct me if I'm wrong ....

The SOHC pistons are lower compression and don't the valve reliefs. The DOHC pistons are the same as ours, AFAIK.

That's what I thought. And no, whatever post was 2 down from mine wasn't there when I posted up. Well, I have a set of SOHC Neon pistons for sale if anyone's interested ... cheap!
