I am excited about building another motor up. Here is what I got so far...
Rusted block and crank with spun rod bearing $50 (got a great deal)
Bare head to be ported, polished and rebuilt $120 (thanks Jwoodley)
Boring the block .020, cleaning, precision honing $150








I still need to have the crank regrinded and balanced $120
the porting, polishing, o/s valves 1mm, 5 angle valve job, springs, etc........this one is going to hurt the pockets $700 total. I think I will have the head done last due to the cost.

Dont bore the block till you have the pistons. you need both to determine skirt clearance.
