#91837, "Car bucks/shakes at low rpm's when floored"

About a week ago or so I noticed my car started to buck and shake a bit after I get it on second gear. If the rpms are low (@2-3k)on 2nd gear and i floor it to get the car moving, it will start to pick up speed and then shakes eventually recovering. It reminds me of when you're learning to drive stick...the only thing is it wont stall at the end, i manage to get it moving... I've noticed that if i run 1st gear to a high rpm and then switch, it doesn't do it as hard..or wont do it at all..but if i shift at regular rpms it'll do it. It's done it once or twice on third gear too but mostly just on second.
Today I could almost swear I also heard a pop like a backfire while it was doing it so getting more worried.
I'm thinking maybe spark plugs/wires maybe? I thought could be dirty fuel or fuel injectors so i bought one of those cleaners but it still doing it....but then again if that was the case it wouldnt it do it all the time not only at low rpms when you floor it?
Other than that the car rides great..I do most of my driving on the highway and it has no problems, its only at low speeds/rpms and not every time either..but i'd say 3 out of 5 times it'll do it
Since it's my only car and I'm not too saavy I'm thinking I might have to take it to Satan...but if its something simple i might give it a shot.
Thanx!

I concur with this concur.

My black car was doing exactly that. Put some new plugs and Kandy's wires and it fixed the problem. I also had a few CEL's... Plugs and wires DO make a HP difference! lol

I was looking at the wires last nite after work, I took them out and put them back in just in case one was loose.....somehow after doing that it seems to have fixed it. Maybe one was loose...I bought new wires anyway and I'll be swapping them but sems ok so far. Thanx!

shit, i was just about to make that same post too, but i found this thread! thats what mine does. sometimes when im driving and i want it to accelerate just a slight bit and press on the gas pedal itll buck a few times, so i have to push it way down, it'd downshift, rev up and start moving faster. it just doesnt seem normal, it never did that before. i had a bad EGR so it threw out a CEL, but i just replaced that and the code dissapeared. i just had the car inspected and it seems to run fine otherwise. it just doesnt seem to have pickup in the low RPM's, so i have to shift it into the lowest gear then push them up towards drive after 3500rpm or so like a manual. its weird. im hoping its nothing major. ill change my intake filter and start looking for some wires and plugs. any recomendations? i dont want to spend 20 bucks a plug, its just a daily.

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.
