Ok i put my greddy header and downpipe on with a Race Cat on the end of the downpipe but the holes do not line up from the race cat to my factory catback. What the hell am i supposed to do to make it turn to line up or is there an extension i have to buy or something? Please help me out quick. i have to get this car finished tonight. thanks in advance for your help.
Brandon

do you mean the holes dont line up or is there a gap inbetween the race cat and stock pipe or what?

well there is a little bit of a gap that i thought maybe i could pull it together though. it is hard to explain but say the 2 holes in the factory catback are at 9 and 3 o'clock and the race cat holes are at 5 and 11 o'clock so there is no way that they are going to line up with out my catback being twisted. I hope that helps it is hard to explain though.

drill new holes emoji
if the existing holes arent going to be in the exhaust cut-out hole in the catback, just drill new ones and bolt the bitch on.

if you have a gap, you cuold always go to autozone or whatnot and get a 2.5 or 3" exhaust pipe extender, cut your cat flange off and use a clamp with the extender on one side to the cat and the other side stick the flange in it the pipe and clamp that on and bolt it to the catback.

the two flanges are so cock-eyed that i dont think that there will be anything left to drill through to make it line up

then cut the flange, bring it to a muffler shop for 10 minutes, and have them weld where it needs to be to bolt on.

ya beat me to it, haha. thats what i was gonna recommend. yeah you are going to have to cut the pipe and turn it so the holes line up and then re-weld the piping together. read that in a haynes book i think.

Hows it working out for you, Brandon? If you dont mind can give me an update on those stock pieces? I've almost got everything reassembled, just waiting on a Haynes manual to get here. Hope the car is running again!

well i replaced the head and put the exhaust and nitrous on it. I am too nervous to start it up so i am waiting on a msd coil and wires until i start it up. Hopefully it is going to run great this time. I am just trying to find a muffler to run with this setup. I will be sending those parts back to you tomorrow. i will send you the tracking number around noon. Thanks
