#9083, "Engine Problem ??????????"

I was thinking maybe a bad coil thoughts on this and what about a bad ecu??

Hi i need some help i was driving home today when suddenly the engine
started to run eratic like it was running like missing a cylinder possibly
missing spark or something but maybe i am wrong. I stopped the car tried to
start turned over but will not run but no clanking noise or anything. Could
this be a bad plug wire or bad coil?? i am not sure. This similiar problem
happened a few months back but then ran fine once car sat a few minutes.
What can i check on car or should i have the doctor look at the car please
let me know i am in distress over this please help......

Thanks Stu

Or no fuel?? Do you have any codes? I think there's a How-to on checking the coil. If you have spark,(make the assumption you have air), then the only thing left is fuel. If your pump decided to finally take a shit then that could be it also. My guess would be between ingition and fuel. Check the coil pack. Work your way from there.

Shit is all apart. Typical...

I was thinking coil pack any body on same wave as me my question is do they just fail outright because a few weeks ago there was an intermittent problem where it ran rough i shut it down and restarted a few minutes later ran fine.

Oh great Skywalker, you will learn the force of parts doing crazy shit. Electrical parts can quit perm or kinda be glitchy. If you don't have CEL code, then my guess would closer to a fuel issue. Also check connections after you check your coil. If the plug to your coil pack has some crap all over it, then that will make for a piss-poor connection. If you really think it's electrical, do the easy tests; like total car volts. If your alt. is quiting then your going to lose alot accessories not to mention ignition. If you rule out one section move to the next that is related to the prob. Let us know how it works out.

Shit is all apart. Typical...
