Would it be possible to hook up an in-line switch between the SAFC and the MAP sensor to stop the SAFC signal going to the PCM so that the car will revert to its origional A/F programming? I want to be able run nitrous without having to turn off or reset the SAFC values each time.
OR can i run an in-line power switch to actualy turn it on and off? would that automaticly reset the SAFC values anyway?
Thank for you help on this one...
tim
ps thanks avenger for the clarification

I'm guessing you mean the map sensor wire and not the o2 sensor wire since the AFC doesn't hook up to the o2 sensor (unless you did the blue wire mod). Anyway, basically you want to bypass the afc, right? Just put connectors on the ends of the map sensor wire you cut (yellow/black) and the 2 afc wires (white and yellow). That way if you ever want to disconnect the afc just unplug white and yellow wires from the afc and reconnect the 2 ends of the map sensor wire. That's how i have mine setup so I can "disconnect" the afc whenever I want (not that I would do that).

The S-AFC interrupts the MAP wire, (the only one you cut in install) To do this you would have to run some extra wire and get a double pole double through switch to actually be able to switch it from the cockpit. Not sure how the interruption would be delt with by the ECU though...
