Make sure your plug wires are on tight. Also if you disconnected the relays on the firewall make sure they have a tight connection

If you had cheap Autozone plug wires, one or more of the internal connectors ripped inside the plug as you pulled it out of the socket.

I used my "lifetime" warranty on those plugs twice before just getting Magnecor wires.

They've also ripped on other cars that I know of. To minimize plug ripping, try removing the spark plugs after the car has cooled down. Heat causes things to expand and become tight.

Of course, that advice wouldn't do you much good if you were trying to do a compression test since your engine should be near operating temp for the most accurate readings. Just be careful, I guess...

Oh no! My sig died! I'll get another one.

Not if he disconnected the coil pack when he did the test. That would cause the cel.

I dont think it will come back. The only reason it came on was cause of turning the car on with the relays disconnected while doing the compression test.

The cars running fine emoji
