origianly posted at az2gnt:

when i drive right now it gets all jerky when i am slightly on the gas. and when i come to a stop the car idles real rough and it has even stalled out. when in neutral (automatic) and it idles real rough my air/fuel gage goes to rich. also when i let of the gas at high rpms to blow off it has a slight back fire, im pretty sure. hard to tell with the exhast.

alright i got a new PCV valve, changed my msd coil and wires back to the stock ones, pulled and checked the spark plugs. any other ideas the car feels like it is getting worse.

Story on the car: turboed it about a year ago. i have 81,000 on the motor. i have the walbro fuel pump and the fmu that came with the star kit. missing link, aem cam gears, msd coil and wires, new head gasket, new pcv valve, and i just changed the oil. the car has NOT been tuned since i went turbo (cant find anyone to help me with it). the tranny fluid is past time to be changed and i have not changed the fuel filter since i have owned it (due to lack of money).

i have been using cheveron with techron and the cheveron fuel injector cleaner the last few times i filled up and like i said early in this post i had a chemical clean for carbon done a few days ago. i am running out of ideas what it could be, i even did a search on 2gnt and came up with nothing. anyone have any ideas or have any spare time to look it over and see what going on. if so let me know. cell: 623-308-2732. Thanks
-Todd

sounds exactly like what was happening to me when my fuel filter went. tried all the things your suggesting and then finally changed that out and it ran bad for about 10minutes and then everything smoothed out. funny thing is i had just changed that fuel filter (cheap autozone filter) only 9k miles before it went bad again.
