I'm in the process of rebuilding, most everything will be performance and i will add turbo. But I really havent come accross any web sites that sell crankshafts for our car, howell has one, but i really dont feel like forking over $1300 for one part , anyone have some suggestions? Can i just take it to a shop and have it re-grinded or something similar? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

just have your stock one turned and polished. Or get a junk one and turn it and polish it. Most machine shops will do it. 1300 for a new crank is salty as hell. I got mine turned and balanced for 150 bucks. Or if you wanna take a step above that flat lander racing will knife edged it and turn it.

If i'm not mistaken, 2gnt's have a knife edged crank stock, so what's the point of getting it knife edged, just get it polished and balanced.

I'd pitch the old crank since your going to all the trouble. Crower has got a good crank for just over a 1000, but under 1300. I mean, you might as well increase the stroke since your going through the engine.

A good machine shop can "clean it up" for you and there is no reason to have to buy a new one IF it's not bent or irrepairably hurt. However, IF you want a brand new stock crank, you can get one here for about $330 or so..... It list for $410 http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com
