ok I bought this ROL gasket and its similar to the MLS headgasket. Now I remember the previous 2 mitsubishi headgaskets I bought came with special torque instructions on how to install the gasket and I err lost it andt he ROL gasket doesn't have one so all i have is good ol chiltons to help me out but I think it might've been for the old composite gasket. It was published in 98 not sure when the MLS gasket came out.
Anyway if anyone has the specs handy I'd greatly appreciate it. I just don't wanna fudge this up.

nm I found em of all places dsmtalk and darkone
DarkOne 07-26-2004, 10:50 AM 1. TORQUE ALL CENTER BOLTS TO 34 NM (25 FT LBS.), TORQUE THE 4 CORNER BOLTS TO 27 NM (20 FT LBS.).
2. TORQUE ALL CENTER BOLTS TO 68 NM (50 FT LBS.), TORQUE THE 4 CORNER BOLTS TO 47 NM (35 FT LBS.).
3. RE-TORQUE ALL CENTER BOLTS TO 68 NM (50 FT LBS.), TORQUE THE 4 CORNER BOLTS TO 47 NM (35 FT LBS.).
4. TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS IN THE SPECIFIED SEQUENCE AN ADDITIONAL 1/4 TURN.
Make sure you use the correct sequence. The center two bolts are 1&2, the ones to the right of them are 3&4, the pair to the left of center are 5&6, bounce to the other side, 7&8, etc, etc. Torque sequence is 1-10, in that pattern.
so the outside bolts are torqued more. Probably to deal with that leaky headgasket issue
