Would there be any downside if I were to make a solid passenger mount for my 2.4? I will also be using a solid front mount. I am not consirned with vibration to much as this is going to be a track car. Any info would be great. best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph(no traction) www.cnnmotorsports.com

same boat i was in man...
i ended up cutting out the stock rubber mount and leaving the steel insert. i cut out a circular disc and marked the new bolt hole location and welded in some round bar. also welded the disc to the insert of the mount. its solid, and it works...but the cab vibration is gnarly. looks oem too unless you really look

I was thinking about cutting out the stock rubber mount to use as a starting point. It seems to be a bit beefier than the rubber mount I used on my first one. I will mess with it over the weekend. best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph(no traction) www.cnnmotorsports.com
