i was plannin to do rebuild for my 96 eclipse rs but it jus got totaled.. i was wonder does a 99 gs have the same engine and which clutch does it have? a modular or non modular

isn't it possible that the fuel system is different if the 96 he has is a fairly early 96, like the location of the fuel pressure regulator or somethin

Nope. That's a 95 model year olnly thing. I've never, in my many years at this, ever seen a 96 model year DSM with the 95 style fuel system.
