didnt take that long really. just use a soft grinding wheel for a dremel to give it a brushed aluminum finish, then go through 400, 1000, 2000 grit sandpaper. Then use some 3M liquid rubbing compound stuff to make it shine. doing the other intake manifold this week. I'm starting to think that it would look better w/ a matching valve cover instead of a painted one. hmmm...

get a powdercoated valve cover. they can look purty. someone on this forum used to advertise their work, and it was awesome.

not selling this one but may buy some other stock ones and polish them. I need to get the cars up and running 1st. I had the paint stipped off of the VC but I didnt really like the look in my engine bay. I'm painting it to match my car right now. We'll see how it comes out. I'll keep you guys updated on the intake manifolds. it would be a nice addition for the shootout!

props! ooo so shiny. that thing is so hard to clean with it's stock porous surface, grease marks are permanent almost. that's something I'm gonna do now too
