#87730, "My car just won't start..."
Apr-04-05 07:29 AM by CopperEclipse96

I go out to my car today, and the thing won't start. It tuens over and everything, but just cranks and cranks, and won't start. Spark plugs are relatively new, wites and coilpack are both very new. I don't know what I should check?

I really need my car today too. shit.

EDIT: i know this is really general, but i'm just looking for some ideas. it sucks because i'm living on campus and have nowhere to work on it. if i can get it started, i'll just have to take it somewhere most likely.

Yup, try the ASD and the fuel pump relays. Both on the firewall (driver's side)

Are you sure you're getting spark? Have you checked? If not, could possibly be the cam/crank sensor.

three things make any internal combustion engine run, fuel, compression and spark, the least reliable of course is the spark, so check and make sure you have good spark in all the cylinders, then go to your fuel, check the fuel pump relay switch and asd relay switch, if none of that is the problem then you might want to have it towed to a shop so they can find out exactly whats wrong with it, fuel pump, clogged filter, bad injectors, i dunno, but check it out.

Have you checked the relays yet. If you turn the car to the "On" position does your fuel pump prime up? If you have checked both of these you might want to start looking for an ECU to swap out just to see if it is that.

I am parting out my 95 RS!!!

First thing I would check is the Engine Fuse under the hood.
