so today, for the first time since i put the motor back in, i went to start up my car.
She cranked and cranked and shot a flame out the exhaust. i stopped trying to start it after that happened. Can anyone give me an idea of what is going on? timing off? has this happened to anyone else? your help is much appreciated, and thanks alot

Sounds like to me, that the cams are not timed right.
