I finally got my engine running again and I went out for a test drive. All was well had no problems went around the block a few times maybe 5 mins or so. The next day I go out and the car on my way home starts smoking, and I think shit I'll just hurry home, I was about one street away. Well as I am driving when I come to a stop the car sputters like it's out of gas but my gauge says 1/4 a tank left. The car dies unless I am on the throttle, it won't even idle. I managed to get some one to bring me some gas, once in the car started up, went the rest of the way home no problem. Not smoking any more or anything. Now my question is is this a fuel problem, or guage is broken? If anyone has a picture of the drivers side of the engine with intake off that would help, I want to make sure I hooked everything up correctly.
Well, it seemed easy to, nothing left over cept some bolts on the mani cover. It was smoking off the manifold distinctly, no where else, but that may have been some oil spilt on there. No gas / oil / cel light. I don't know what's up. I am going to try and drive it again tomorrow and see if anything happens. The only other thing is my temp gauge never went up, stayed like it wasn't connected or the car was off.
Ah. The bottom one was all dirty and green, when I tried to tug it off it would't come, so i just left it. Maybe I broke it. How exactly does it come off? I pulled the cap off, but it still stuck.
