#87313, "95 ESi Engine Swap Qs"

Hello,

I have a few questions that I'm hoping some of you may be able to help me with or point me in the right direction.

1) How possible is it to swap in an Evo 8 engine and transmission?
1b) Is it possible to run a driveshaft from that tranny to my rear end? Would it all line up?
2) Anyone have pictures of underneath an Evo 8 so I can look at the drivetrain ect?

I appreciate any help guys, thanks for your time.

No, but you can modify an AWD Dodge Caravan transmission and drive train to fit out cars in conjunction with a GSX rear end and a turbo kit. You'd still be auto, you'd still be slow, and you'd still spend more money than you would just buying an Evo....but hey have fun.

just do some searching on switching a 4g63 FWD from an eclipse with your 420A...i think it has been accomplished all of one times, and the car didnt even run...there are much, much better options than that (built stroker, stage 3 or 4 turbo, 2.4l swap...)
