Yeah guys it's another oil leak question. I can't find any soft plugs that will seal so I was going to put in pipe taps. But today at college one of my instructors suggested to put in tapered plugs machined from aluminum stock. So I machined a couple aluminum plugs and am going to put them in. But I'm wondering if you guys think the plugs will hold since aluminum expands and contracts at different temperatures than iron. I was going to put blue loctite around them to help keep them from walking out too. Anyway I want to hear if you think this will work.
Thanks

Matt

leaks from where? Pics would help, if I coldn't find a soft plug and it where of correct size that I could tap it and use oil galley plugs from a Chevy or Ford V-8, I'd tap that S.O.B., plug it and be done with it. I'm assuming this is an oil galley hole correct?
