Never really heard of this before, but I'm going to assume this was used on composite gaskets, not multi layer steel ones..of course, I could way off here..

Hmm, I wonder, cuz thats of course what Im going to use.

Actually I wouldnt see why it wouldnt work. I used some to seal up the exhaust side of my turbo and DP and it worked great.

I would just use the recommend spray on the MLS head gasket and not Indian Head

When I was working in the shop I tore down a 350 Chevy that a guy used Gorrila Snot on to seal the head gaskets. The damn thing almost didn't need head bolts, if it weren't for the gasket I'd have never been able to tear it apart. It was like number 6 on my stupidest things seen done to an engine list. If you care about your engine, just use the manufacturers recomended stuff.

Indian Head is a copper based sealant much like the spray we use. This stuff has been around for a while and had been regularly used by a couple NHRA teams in the pits. Personally, I would still use the "normal" spray because of cost and there is a minimal difference between the two. Either of them won't be as stout or as much of a mess as Gorilla snot. That stuff is just a pain in the ass.

So what would you do if you already had both types? Like I said previously, I already have the 2. Its just Ive had the car now for about 5 years and eversince I first noticed Iv always had an HG leak. Well the last time I tore it down, I used and MLS but didnt know about the back driver side bolt. So obviously I wanna do everything in power to keep this biatch from leaking again. I am getting another MLS and ARP studs, but I was thinking either spray or this shiz would be a lil more insurance. What say you?

By the way, I have Permatex copper gasket spray, that is the stuff your talking about right?
