when i start, now that it's colderi have a squeal from the engine. reminds me very much of the squealing i heard when my idler pulley exploded. could i just be a belt slippin off a pulley? both my belts are like 9k miles old. i've heard misc other things like ac compressor and stuff but all that works fine. oh and the PS pump is new too like 12k miles.

In the winter time when i first start my car in the morning i get belt squeal until the engine warms up. Dont know if that is what you're talking about.
