#87043, "safc mount question"

So, I will be completing the wiring tomorrow. I bought it off ebay so no paperwork, etc. My question is, I plan on mounting it using the bracket that it came with, I just can't figure out which end of the bracket goes on the back of the unit. The one with a single bar or double? I plan on inseting it above the HVAC in standard fashion. Any one got some pics? Thanks.

From RRE:

We used the bracket supplied by Apex and slid it into the crevice just below the A/C vent. By bending the bracket just a touch, it was able to grip well. The bracket will allow for mounting on just about any surface with either screws or double sided tape.

geres how i mounted mine looks much cleaner i think very easy to do as well. You just need to have an aftermarket radio, and just cut the black trim panel that goes around the hvac and radio at the bottom inbetween the 2 grab points.

thats pretty cool. only thing with that is he using the blue version of the safc i think, and if you accidentally hit a button while shifting, that could cause a big no no emoji

Its a lot further away from the shifter then it looks, you would have to have your hand come flying off the shifter to hit it. It doesnt even come close to rubbing.

I have seen several cars that have them in the show off postion and then get broken into. After you tune your car you don't even need to watch it, just put in your center console or glovebox.
