#8699, "starting problems...."

I went home last weekend from college, and when i came back down last saturday, i brought my car with me. It's been sitting since then, hasn't been started or anything. Today I go out to start it, and it won't start. It cranks and cranks and cranks but doesn't start up, I tried for a good 15 minutes. I need this fixed cause i'm driving home tomorrow. please help.

Aight so it cranks right?? This is what the problem MIGHT be. Open the hood and right next to the brake fluid cover you will see two little black boxes, tap them with your hand and then start you should hear the fuel pump come on after you hit it and turn the ignition on. Those relays sometimes go bad like mine did and would not let the car start on hot days. Its worth a try

Your car has a bunch of sediment and oxygen in the gas/gas tank from sitting and now its being a bitch to start. Go to the store and get some shit that helps take the oxygen and sediment out and try again.. Cant think of the name of the shit but go to Fred Meyers, GI Joes, anywhere that carries generic car shit and you'll find what i'm talking about, its basically to clean out your fuel system and fuel tank.. Give that a shot.

alright..got it to start..i drove an hour back home from college, no problems....now it won't start again, just keeps cranking....so I took off one of the plug wires (far passenger side cylinder) to check to see if it's getting spark...and there's a puddle of oil in where the spark plug is....what's this mean????

valve cover gasket. you need to get it redone. i don't think it's all that hard to do but you need to unbolt the head and stuff. shouldn't cost to much all they do is use the glue type gasket makes and then stick it on.
