So my car (1997 eclipse gs) has no compression at all when i try and turn it over. So i started tearing the whole thing down, and i'm going to build it from the ground up. I have a super 16g turbo, crower stage 2 cams, upgraded valve springs and retainers, safc, aem cam gears, exhaust, msd coil and plugs, frount mount intercooler, sfmu, 440cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, sending computer out to get race af/x. My question is when i'm re-doing the block, i obviously want to do low compression pistons. So far i'm thinking to do 8.8:1 je pistons, eagle h beam rods, arp main stud kit, melling oil pump, all gaskets. What else should i do/have to do? Do i need stainless steel valves? Am i able to run 8.8:1 pistons and eagle rods with the crower stage 2 cams?
