does anyone know if it is possible to use silicone hoses for the fuel and water lines under the hood? people say its not, and i assume thats because the hoses cant withstand the pressure. the hoses are rated at 40-45psi, does the pressure inside the hoses ever breach that limit? if so, where can we get stainless braided hoses to replace these? i want to swap all of the hoses going to and from the fuel rail, intake manifold, cartech regulator, power steering, heater, etc. with either blue silicone hoses or stainless steel wrapped rubber hoses. i don't know where to start looking.

i think its a combo of pressure AND heat. if youll look (even on PVC) there is a PSI rating at a certain temperature. im assuming your going for the looks...but im not sure if you could pull that off saftely unless you just didnt use the car.

as for fuel lines, id DEFINATELY go with braided SS lines...not silicone

Do not use silicone hoses for anything other then vacuum, they will tumor up and explode. Found out the hard way with transmission hoses emoji

On a side note, I would get rid of the cartech FMU before it turns its back on you.

Didn't you say you wanted to replace the water hoses coming n and out of the heater core? If so, those are -10AN if you go SS.
