Help, my AFX pulley has been squealing ever since it was put on. The first time it was only when I turned the wheel all the way right or left so I had my boy tighten it some more. Then, it did it when I first started my car and quit after about a minute so I had it tightened again. I have had it tightened and losened and put a new belt and everything. Do I just not have it tightened good. Please help. thanks, Anthony

it seems like to me that everyone who has installed the pulley can never get rid of the squealing belts, no matter how tight the belts are. If thats the sacrifice we take for a few more HP...funk that! Ain't NO way my cars gonna sound like those beater vans you see with squealling belt

get the goodyear gatorback belts (i think it was gatorback or maybe just gators) but i have them on my pulley and no problems at all, also put some antisqueal belt dressing on it.

i havent tried this yet but i think it might work... take a very very fine grit sand paper and rough the pulley up a little bit... i think the belt squeaks because the surface is so smooth

My AFX is perfectly smooth and using the supplied belts. No squeeling whatsoever. Maybe some WD-40 got on the pulley during the install? I cleaned all of the pulleys with alcohol before installing the belts...just to make sure they were clean.
