#85445, "420A rebuild questions"

In the spring I plan to boost the motor but it has about 107k on it so I decided to rebuild it before I warp and piston or throw a rod but I am not to sure what to get or what I need. I know a guy who can do it for cheap but he siad that I needed to get all of the parts togather first. For pistons I want to get wiseco becuase my friend is sponsered by wiseco for motox and can get the crap for list but what else should I replace besides rods, rings and bearnings, and what barands should I go with?

Some people here have had bad luck with wisecos. Steer clear.

Nice handle, btw.

Check places like Exile Racing Technologies or Howell Automotive. Typical rebuilds include the following:

pistons, rods, bearings, oil and water pumps, belts, gaskets, and plugs.

Yes. You can't do a damn thing until you have your pistons. emoji

You said it. I'll never buy another set of Wiseco pistons as long as I live. They are not made with the quality of other pistons. Do some reading on here. List price means dick if you have to buy more than one set.

I would suggest Hooked on Phonics.
