I just installed one in my car this past weekend. I plan on using with the Megasquirt that MrSlick is building for me. You can use it in place of your narrow band if you want to with a simple mod. The unit has a narrow band and a wide band output.

For the money its not bad. not everyone wants to assemble thier wideband james. Techedge unit is more than the 200 you paid when you buy it assembled.

or there is the innovate unit that is awesome as hell for about the same $$. sure you may not get a cool dipslay to mount and lok at in your car, but realisticly, when you ARE concerned about your A/F ratio, you wont have the time to watch your display to see where your at. the innovate is a much better unit.

I almost got the LM-1 but I decided to get the PLX instead. I pretty much wanted somthing that was plug and play. I liked the small readout that I could mount on my steering column that I could look at every now and then. Not really to tune by but to monitor the A/F mix just in case it decides to go lean I will be able to see it right then.

I will be using the Megasquirt for dataloging so I didn't really need the LM-1 or one of the others with that capability.

cool so it seems like a pretty decent unit
i like the fact that i dont need to weld in a bung for another o2 sensor and can just sub the wideband in for the oem
it also has an adapter to make the blinky light af gauge actualy read accuratly 50 bucks but hey everything else on this car is pretty much expensive whats another 50

i talked to eclipse982nrRST and he is going to make a custom gauge holder for me on my steering column but i need the dimensions of the plx readout box. can someone take some measurements for me
since i dont have mine yet

thanks

I just stuck it on the column with velcro. I will go measure the display and post it in a few minutes.

The dimensions are 2 3/4" W x 1" H x 4 1/2 L. I am going to have to figure out one of this days how to post pics on this forum.
