#85115, "Anybody know where I can find I new Timing belt tensioner?"

Hey, I'm looking for a new timing belt tensioner and was wondering where I can get a new one for a good price. I don't want the mopar $139.95 tensioner, that's outrageous.

I think you are going to either have to bite the bullet on this one, or post in the forsale section and someone might have one lying around.

A timing belt tensioner is not something you want from a junkyard.

Check out Bob Kise at Fenton Dodge (810) 714-3300. I think mine was $90. That is the kind of thing that you buy new. Like you wouldn't go to a junkyard to buy a timing belt.

Little off topic...is Bob Kise the parts manager? And if we order from there do we just say we're from 2gnt and we get a small discount or something?

You just ask for parts and then ask for Bob Kise. If he isn't there, most of the other guys know the deal. When they get you the total, ask if they included the 20% discount for internet car clubs (2GNT, ASOG, NEONS). I've never had a problem ordering from them. They have always been helpful. You have to pay for shipping, so make the order worth it.

I don't need the timing tensioner bearing, I need the actual timing belt hydraulic tensioner. Thanks though.
