so i want to install an aeromotive fpr

the inlets are 6an
the fuel rail is 4an

so i was thinking
would it work to drill and tap the end of the fuel rail to a 6an size to use it for the return and plug the 4an test port that is currently in use

all of the aftermarket rails that i see are tapped on both ends inlet and return side but i really dont want to replace my main fuel lines right now so i want to use the stock feed line



but if i did want to go ahead and replace the stock feed line
would this adapter work for the 420a, it says it is for a turbo and non turbo

Why wouldnt it work? But IMO, it is a waist to do a 6AN return line.

so it is easier to just use a reducer on the aeromotive
and just use a 4an from the rail to the reducer



4an push on barb screwed into a 6-4 reducer on the aeromotive would make install easy

now i just have to figure out what size to use for the return from where my cartech is now back to the tank

Yup, thats what Im using. As barb connections, I wouldnt, but that you call.

steel lines and normal an fittings from the rail to the fpr is easy
its the return line back to the tank that scares me
i am just not ready to go to a full steel line setup yet

maybe i will just use a barb on the fpr to tank line

Its not hard. You just need like 12 feet of S/S line, 2 fittings and sone zip ties.

do they make adapters to fit onto the second fuel pump
it is a walbro 255l and has barbed brass ends on it
i guess i could always bypass the stock fuel filter and go with AN fitting aftermarket

Ok you lost me. Is this an inline pump. If so, I couldnt tell you if somebody makes fittings to eliminate the barbed fittings. If so, this is a job for somebody thats delbt with them.

located right under the fuel filter by the right rear tire

would it be possible to just use the steel lines here and just use a hose clamp to hold them on
so i could eliminate the need for new fittings all together

did you weld in bungs or drill and tap the rail

looks like a 90degree on one side and a 45 on the other
