i was wondering if the crower cams had to be degreed in to the specs on the cam card or do they just drop in. and yes i have done a search on this. thanks for any help.

All cams should be degreed, otherwise you are not getting what you paid for. Degreeing them gives make sure you know where are for a starting point, so you can repeat it if you need to. If you ever change a timing belt etc, you need to degree them again.

No such thing as a quick explination. I will trust the Crane Cams over the Crowler. Crane makes the blanks for Crowler, so see it as trust the manufacturer of the cam and not someone that only does the follow up. BUt I will ask the guys at Crane if they have a degreeing thing for the OHC engines.

Thank you for correcting my grammer. I'm sure you grammer service will be a credit to cyberspace.
Crower would have their own machining facilities for serveral reasons. 1) To manufacture the cams the make completely. 2) To finish semi-ground cores that they purchase from other supplies (such as Crane) 3) To do regrinds on existing customer cams. 4) To finish as cast cores. That should cover most of the reasons they would need them.

thanks for the info! you just cant use a dial indicator with a degree wheel to do so. is there different ways to degree cams with hydraulic lifts as opposed to standard lifters? because if not i have a guy that would be able to do it for me. thanks again for the help!
