I disagree. I have had venom and obx intake manifold. not only do they look better, but the obx is the same thing and half the price. the obx is also cheaper than getting a port and polish. i use the obx one and love it, dj uses the venom one too i think, atleast he used to. get the obx one man IMO!

i wouldnt say they suck because i have never owned one... but the only good thing i have heard about either one of them was in this thread. I have only heard bad things like they dont help any or they are a waste of money, and in my opinion its not worth the money. You could P&P for cheaper than buying one those aftermarket ones.

But then again, to be truthfully honest i have a P&P mani that i bought from a member and i really didnt feel a whole lot of difference and the TB opening is approximately 59mm. i felt a bigger difference from just the 55mm TB... so if you dont already have a bigger TB it might be something to look into.

Unless of course your turbo, then i hear you get better gains from the P&P mani's with a turbo than without. But if you read any review on the internet you will find that 95% of the people will tell you to P&P rather than the OBX/Venom. I have to admit though, they are shiney! emoji

There is a reason their products are so cheap compared to doing real work and getting real products. You get what you pay for.

Okay then - for those of us interested in making power, the Venom sucks.

Get a P&P stocker, it's just as good, half the size, and everything actually bolts up to it.

Yeah, you have to modify those POS OBX ones, they don't have a missing link port, don't have vacuum ports, they never fit right, and they actually cause a drop in intake velocity which is almost more important than intake volume. Too much volume and not enough velocity = less power. Get yours ported and extrude honed if you want power. If you wanna be a ricer get an OBX one.

OBX manifold on ebay is like $200, you could port your stock manifold if you have/bought a dremel($60) and/or a summit porting kit ($30) with a drill. I used a long ass metal rod and drill with the sanding rolls from the summit porting kit to get down into the runners. This is very time consuming but well worth it. By the way, miller is right on the obx doesnt fit right lol.
