seems like there are much more out there for turbos, i had heard that only GST and not GSX ones fit, but i just wanted to make sure. Plus, i can get the gst ones cheaper from my friend who works at a dealer. thanks

You can find a used, stock GST rear section for around $50 if you look hard enough. Best value around. Good to something like 300hp IIRC. And there are cat backs for our powertrain as far as I know.

I say if you got 300$ to throw around, invest in an exhaust system that will not rust and will perform for many years down the line. For some strange reason, the 5Zigen exhausts that I have seen all have had bad rusting episodes. My RSR and Apex-I units do not have this problem.
Bottom line, just because it is cheap doesn't mean it is better. Research...
Oh and to answer your original question... All GST exhaust parts will fit the RS/GS with the exception of the downpipe.

i got my apexi brand new for $325 shipped, all ceramic coated...had it for 3 years and not one single tiny spot of rust ANYWHERE on it...5zigen is crap, pure and simple...give it a year and it will need replaced due to massive rusting...

hey thanks everyone for the responses. I had one more thing - because the exhausts were designed for the turbo eclipses, will I lose power even though it says the piping diameter is 60mm (2.36 in)? Isn't smaller diameter better for N/T?

2.5" exhaust is great for our application. stock exhaust diameter is 2.25", so even though its a small step up, you'll like the gains. goodluck.
