Okay, I got done with putting in two pistons, timing belt, HG n all. Now I got problems...

1) I have white smoke comming out the tailpipe at idle only intermitent though. Check'd the compression...180 all across, what could it be?

2) This is the main problem: I put the key in and turn it to ACC and the car shuts off and then the normal dash lights come on...I can't anything to get power. if I turn on the lights, it shuts off, if I try to crank it. It seems like I can't any power anywhere not even my fuel relay. When there's no key it just flicker...I'm like WTF?Now when I turn it to ACC I can feel the POS terminal get warm...short I'm thinking. But where?? I'd be somewhere in the engine bay harness but is there an easy way to find out? BTW I tried a new battery...no luck THanks

About the only thing I can come up with right now is to check all of your grounds. Make sure you hooked up the negative cable back too the trans or engine block and also check the connection at the body by the battery. Also check and see if the ground strap is connected from intake to the firewall.

I'm not sure if this things would cause your problems. But I know bad ground connections will cause some werd problems.
