#82840, "need some feedback..."

i know that everybody says that the stocker intake mani flows better than all the aftermarket ones out but when swapping to the 2.4 engine, the stocker should be mathematically too small, correct? i am tooling with the idea of designing a custom intake manifold. i did search and didn't find the info i'm looking for. does anybody have any "hard" numbers such as scfm flow at certain rpms, approx improvements between stock and a good port and polish job, and any other relevant info?? also, i've heard that the length of the runners can make a difference between more torque down low versus more top end power. is it shorter runners for top end improvement or vice versa? thanks in advance and we'll see what we can come up with...chris
