#82542, "top line rebuild kit"

im around 114K miles and am plannin on keeping my car for quite a bit long, im starting college next year so at least 4 more years. i was wondering if the top line rebuild kit from machv is a good investment in keeping my car running strong. i think its a good time for me to do this too because im loosing my license for 6 months...blah...i owned the neon though..lol...anyways, heres what it includes

This complete engine from rebuild kit from Top Line includes a complete gasket set, pistons and rings, main and rod bearings, thrust bearings, timing belt, balance shaft bearings, expansion plugs, and oil pump. Does not include cams or timing belt tensioner. All parts are Top Line brand, and meet or exceed OEM specifications. Choose stock bore or .020 over-bore. Sorry, no substitutions are allowed with these kits. Also, these kits may not be returned.

its $550 and i was wondering if there would be any reason to go .020 overbore? i dont plan on going turbo on this car

To answer you question about an overbore you probably wont need it unless you cylinders have some gouges in them and require you to overbore. So you will have to find out when you get the rods and pistons out.

they could just be stating balance shafts in the description because it could be a description for the 4g63, but you can select different engines when you order so im sure i can get it for my car, i could always just email machv

It doesn't have the full gasket set, though, just bottom end.
