Thanks for all your help. The timing belt has been replaced twice, every 60,000 miles. I change the oil every 2,700-3,000 miles. I use synthetic blend.
The noise is an idling noise. The fan is very loud when it comes on. The noise I'm refering to is I guess the noise of the engine running, that combined with the fans coming on. It's so loud that it causes people to look at me and the car when walking by if I'm stopped at a light or stop sign. It's not a screeching sound like that of belts, its not a ding, its more like a loud idling Vrrrrrr and when the belts come on it sound like a have a blower under the hood. I don't have any mechanical mods or mechanical problems. The only thing I can think of is that I had the radiator replaced. Even so I think most of you would agree that at Idle our cars are louder than say a Lexus or BMW, why is that?
Hope that helps a little more.
